Pictures that could be on the Daily Prophet

I work for Twistage, an online video software company, and part of my job is researching our competitors. Brightcove is one of those competitors. When I was poking around their site I found this gem:

Jeremy Allaire Bio

Most of the founders on the "Leadership" page have moving pictures for some bizarre reason, and its done in such a way that they look either:

a. Trapped in the page like the Daily Prophet
b. Like whoever was taking the photo accidentally had their camera switched to video and the guys they were taking the photos of kept smiling waiting for the flash to go off.

I don't know why I found this page so funny... but it's definitely horribly horribly awkward.

Marty Feldman

When I see pictures of Marty Feldman, I wonder if there was ever a time when a fake Marty Feldman put him in a chest for a year and pretended to be him with some polyjuice potion.

Wingardium Leviosa - Shit can fly!

When I saw this I just about shit myself.

OH MY GOD! With this kind of technology, things levitating all around us, Quidditch seems like it could be a very real possibility in the near near future.

How in God's name is this possible if not for the levitation charm?

Hogwarts is Here

Everywhere I look there are things that remind me of Harry Potter. That's right, I read and openly admit to loving Harry Potter. All six and half books. The first part of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix I try to block out of my memory. What a prissy prima donna in that one, right? Oh God now I'm thinking about how irritating he was...

Anyway, I'm an intelligent adult. But sometimes I see things around the web that are just too good to be true. Things that remind me way too much of Harry Potter, Dumbledore, Snape, Hermione, Ron Weasley, the Weasley twins, He-who-should-not-be-named, and hippogriffs. Actually thats not true. I've never seen anything that makes me think a hippogriff exists.

Anyway, let's put our magic hats on and delve into the world of Harry Potter on the world wide web. Found Harry Potter!
